Blog update - Mr. Violo

Everyone has now had an opportunity to blog.  The class has really taken a liking to blogging and some have even created their own blog or have future plans on doing so!!!  Their have been a number of requests with regards to commenting on a post.  I've altered the settings so that those with google accounts (gmail.com) will be able to comment simply by clicking on the comment link underneath each blog.

Rowan's Blog

Hi, my  name  is  Rowan.  I  am  reading  diary  of  wimpy  kid.  I  really  like  school  too.  I  am  waiting  for  christmas  to  get  a  remote  control  airplane.We  just  did  our  spelling  test,  and  I  think  I  got  them  all  right.  My  favourite  subject  in  school  is  math.  All  of  the  students  in  our  class  made  a  boat for a floating competition.

Hi   my   name  is   Ruby.  I    like  gym  music  and,   Libary.   We   just did our spellling test. Our class is in first place for the environment project. Tyler won $25 in the book fair contest.  I hope he picks a book we all like for the class.

I like trains, reading Goosebumps and I like the boat challenge. I love Chine Drive, Mr. Violo is the best and so are the rest of the students in the class.  The smartboard is awesome and I had a really good time at the book fair. Dairy of  a Wimpy kid five is a good book. READ IT!!!

STAR WARS is rated PG-13, I also like DRACULA-2000. It is rated ER-44. I am going to get THE ADVENTURES OF OOK AND GLUK KUNG-FU CAVE-MEN FROM THE FUTURE, THE SECOND EPIC NOVEL BY GEORGE BEARD and HAROLD HUTCHINS ACTION LAFFS and FLIP-O-RAMA IN EVERY CHAPTER. There are 10 chapter's. OOK has the blond hair and GLUK has the black hair.

Hi my name is Jorja. I really like the day that we put  our Hallowe'en costume's on. I really like when we had the life boat challinge it was fun. I really like Grade 2 it is fun! We had made a map of the classroom we just had a spelling quiz. I read every day, Mr.Violo has lots of books for us to read. Hello  my  name  is   Jeffrey.  We  are  building  life  boats  for  a  challenge. I  am   in   grade  2. We  have  to  complete  6  or  all  of  the  challenges. We  are  reading the series  Franny K. Stein.  It's great!! I 'm  almost  done  the  pirate levels  on  dreambox. We did reading in the morning. Now we are at reading buddies. Next week we will be working on the netbooks with our buddies!

Hi! My name is Emelia I am going to tell you a bit about grade 2 . Just recently we went to Downsview park! It was really fun! We went on a nature walk. We also did a clay workshop with Paul Stewart and we made masks that in the old days scared bad spirits out of people. We are curently working on Remembrance Day activities.  We are creating poppies and reading the poem in Flanders Fields. We took a line from the poem and drew a picture of it.
